this app is a pain to use. the interface is not intuitive in any way. it feels clunky and the controls are cumbersome. i also have no idea what anything on the calendar means because the info is not in english. The language can't be changed either. This widget is a mess.

This is much better than the native calendar app; you can choose which of your calendars to show and hide, and it has many customization options. It synchs perfectly with your Google calendars. I consider this a must-have for anyone who uses the Google calendar function.

I like this widget, I have three on a homescreen: one for personal calendar events I am going to, one for professional events, and one for social events. It could use: 1) Backup/export/import/restore of widget settings, 2) support for scrolling, 3) timeout on "menu" so that it reverts to the calendar after a few minutes.

Great calendar! Only one thing that bothers me (and it's been mentioned here before) - only one size of the widget available. If you display like 6 events, the text become really small and hard to read, it'd be awesome if there'd be a possibility to keep the text in the same size and change the widget height instead. Also, seems that if I set "Display six events", it acts like displaying six events even if I don't actually have so many events in the calendar, so if I have only one event, it displays five empty lines. I'd natively understand the "# events displayed" more like displayed MAX, so if I set it on displaying six events, but have only two in my calendar, it should show up like two events (that means, bigger text, with no empty space in the end), and if I add new events, it should automatically resize the text and display appropriate number of lines.

Love the widget, very customizable and clear. Way better than the stock one on my Galaxy S2. Simple as anything to set up, with all my GCals. The only downer is would love a 1x2 or 1x3 size rather than 1x4. I waste the right edge of the widget as it's all blank. Edit: If I could give this six stars I would. Been using it for a while now and it's truly awesome. So clear, quick and handy. Very highly recommended.

I like the widget as I just wanted simply a little calender icon on my homescreen. Don't like the calendar itself - prefer the Jorte layout and functionality for actual calandar useage. I agree with other comments here that it's a shame you can't reduce the widget size - annoying that it takes up a whole row with the invisible icons - specially when those functions aren't being used.

The hide function for Facebook birthdays should hide birthdays in widget too, not just calendar. Should be like the option to hide some calendars which works well. Otherwise this app does exactly what I want.

I just dl the widget yesterday and am loving it so far. Widget allows lots of customization that other calendar widget doesn't as far as text, color, viewing, and more. I also like that it shows up to 6 appts but the fonts gets really small due to the widget size. It would be a 5 stars if the widget can be a little bigger but not too big to take over the home screen. Thanks for your creation!

Use to love it. Switched to the Rezound and now when I go to the calendar I can't view any of the days. When I long press it gives me the option, but then it does nothing...can't add, view, or change anything. When I use the stock calendar it works fine though.

I love this app! It is easier for me to read that the normal calendar widget. My only regret (and like many other users) I wish it was resizeable. I'd like to see more than 4 events and still have the text legible. I love it regardless & won't dock a star for lack of sizing. I do hope it turns up in a future update though. :-)

I recently downloaded the smooth calendar app for my samsung galaxy s2.. It was working great until a few days ago. All of a sudden the time of events from the calendar are off by -7 hours on the small widget on my homepage. If I tap in the widget icon, it brings up the full calendar showing the correct time for each event. I have tried turning my phone off & on. Checked the time zone settings on the phone & nothing seems to fix the issue. Emails to the developer failed.

my last cal widget would remove the current days events at midnite & just show upcoming events. this one keeps current events on screen all day. easy & customizable

Almost perfect. My wish list. 1. Only show the next instance of a recurring event, so more events are shown. 2. Allow more than 6 events to be shown, dynamically increasing the widget's size if needed. (if this is possible). Thanks for a great tool.

Very good free calendar widget. Better than many offered which I have wasted money on. Two things prevent it from being perfect, 4.0 gives me the ability to resize widgets, but this is stuck at 4 x 1. (Second option would be to have a 4 x 2 widget available.) Another option would be to allow for the widget to be scrollable, the contents of this widget is fixed. Hard to fault the flexibility in set-up otherwise. Solid design and dependable execution.

I am using this widget since a time, and I can tell you that it is way the best free widget/application I've ever installed. My only problem is that there are no other sizes for the widget than 3x1. At least a size of 3x2 would be preferable, becouse if you want to display more than 3 items in the widget, they become so small you can't read any of them unless you look very close. (I am using Samsung Galaxi Mini.) By the way, if you can solve this problem, this will be nearly the best free widget on the Market.

Used to work flawlessly. Now can't select individual days on monthly calendar. Have to long press a day to pull up a menu to see that day, dumb, if I didn't want to see that day, I would not have selected it. Good apps don't need improvement...

Two things for perfection Always open the Calendar in day mode for current day(don't reuse the last viewed state) OR the day the first event is (in case of offset) - allow 4x2!

I updated the new FOTA and it doesn't sync new calendar items, and also when you click it goes to main calendar but then the calendar freeze.

After going through the extensive customization screen (which I like) my settings then revert to the original configurations after about an hour or so. What the hell? Is it a setting in my phone? Samsung Infuse. The developer says on his main page to email him with an issue, but there is no contact info here in the market or at his website!

Just what I wanted -- very easy to set up -- enough options for simple configuration. Can show up to 6 items, altho' more than 4 is hard for me to see. Landscape view is not so useful, text shrinks too small even after increasing size of home screen grid. (Optimus V)

I wanted a simple widget that shows the date and couple of next upcoming calendar entries. This widget does just that and even throws in couple of bonus features, like the calendar colors, hilighting the ongoing events and it's very configurable and tweakable. Highly recommended!

I have been using it since 2 months. Does what it says. Don't think anything better than this exist. Most options are just what one looks for in an app like this. Just one thing: I want to see up to 8 rows on the widget without reducing the font size. Is it possible to resize the widget in height. That way we will be able to see 8 items with the same font size if we double the widget size vertically.

Easy to use Just what I wanted -- very easy to set up -- enough options for simple configuration. Can show up to 6 items, altho' more than 4 is hard for me to see. Landscape view is not so useful, text shrinks too small even after increasing size of home screen grid. (Optimus V)

Thank you for this. It is perfect. Completely customizable and works perfectly. Why can't Sense, Touchwiz, blur, or anything else figure out this is what we need? This fixed my #1 gripe with android--the crappy calendar widgets.
