This might be the best month ever for Android. We've seen Android 2.2, the future of Android and even Google gleefully mocking Apple. Oh yes, and there were a ton of awesome apps. If you'd like to view the following gallery as a single page, click here. Mint: You know Mint, right? Pretty much the best online personal finance manager around (so good, the company behind Quicken bought it). Now they have an Android app, and it is minty fresh, with full search integration, widgets and other Android-y goodness you can't get with their Android app. It's free—if you have Mint, it's a must-grab, and if you don't, maybe now's the time to check it out. Fring: A venerable multi-protocol app on many platforms, but I have three words for you regarding its latest Android version: Free. Video. Calling. The future is here folks, and it's on Android first. Adobe Reader:

One of the latest apps to make the migration over to the Android Market from the land of iPhone exclusive apps is RunKeeper, an exercise tracking application that has been well-received on the iPhone platform. Android already has a decent selection of these apps — my up-to-now personal favorite being CardioTrainer — but RunKeeper is a welcome addition. The free version currently available in the market only runs on Android 2.x devices, and will track all the basics such as pace, distance, and time, and provide GPS map tracking. Signing up for a RunKeeper account provides the added functionality of online synchronization of your daily exercise for long-term tracking of progress and goals. If you are coming from an iPhone to Android, this means you can pick up right where you left off in your training by entering your account credentials into the Android app. A “Pro” paid version is expected

Once upon a time I was a dedicated iPhone user, and during that time I used a wonderful app called RunKeeper to track my bike and run workouts. I then started using an Android phone on a regular basis and was (in an effort to have a cross platform app) forced to ditch RunKeeper. Well, in a little bit of happy Monday news, the RunKeeper app is now available for Android and can be found in the Android Market. For those unfamiliar, RunKeeper is an app that tracks the progress of your outdoor workouts by taking advantage of the GPS in your phone. It offers data including total workout time, distance traveled, average speed, average pace and calories burned. It also offers a map of your workout route which can be viewed both on your phone and on the web. In terms of the newly released RunKeeper app for Android, it

RunKeeper, coordinated nicely with the Boston Marathon, takes the starting line on Android 2.x devices today. This software is among my personal favorites as it uses a phone’s GPS to track and report on any type of mobile exercise: running, cross-country skiing and hiking, to name a few. Up to now, however, I was missing RunKeeper because it was iPhone-only and I adopted a Google Nexus One over three months ago. RunKeeper, it’s good to see you again. This first version, free in the Android Market, offers just the basics but I’d expect to see an offering comparable to the RunKeeper Pro app in the near future. For now, expect time, distance, speed, pace, calories and map tracking with RunKeeper for Android. Of course, you can listen to music while using the app, and there are configurable voice cues for pace on the iPhone version which I hope to see added

Let's you close it, is accurate and does all of the stuff of cardiotrainer, which you had to force close or it would eat your battery. Great app.
Steven
Great interface. Nice website.
Fabio
Worked fine a few times but seems to crash sometimes in the middle of the training. I wish I could rely on it
Eric
Best website! Best app interface. I love it BUT app failed to discard wildly erroneous GPS locations in a forest I run where other apps track fine.
yuniel
Works perfect on EVO 4G I love just need a music player in the app while I running that will be A+
David
Wish we could search for other users pages.
Rebecca
Would be perfect if you could manually add time on the treadmill.

kelly
Very cool. Does everything i need it to do. Pretty accurate also.
Daniel
This app works a treat, logging routes and uploading activity to the web... I cannot believe it is free! Nike+ beware... this app really is superb.
JP
Having access to Google Maps, along with elevation and pace info, is fantastic. It doesn't even take up much battery! Cals burned is nice, too.
Jojo
Terrible slow performance

Cardio trainer is a much better app, much more features and is accurate. Once I get all foursquare badges I am going to uninstall.
Jongwoo
Good!
Kathleen
The gps is very inaccurate...i just ran 969 miles in 39 minutes. That far exceeds the 600 miles i ran yesterday. It has only been accurate one time
Angus
Great app. Be cool if it allowed manual input like iPhone.
Ryan
Inaccurate gps log.
Sandra
Working great. Moment.
Whippet
Great app
Daniel
Like the app but it stopped posting runs. GPS is off at times as well. Trying to uninstall and download again to see if that helps.
Ian
Needs feature 2 manually ad gym runs etc. Need Calorie tracking 4 workouts. Heart rate monitoring directly on app from chest strap would be AMAZING!!!
Markus
It takes forever to start and end a run. Nexus 1.
Charles
Gps needs to be improved
mark
Let's hope this version works

No move to SD option = one star
Willy
It worked great for a while but wen i upgrade my mytouch to Android 2.2 it just gives me force closes all the time. Please fix!
Kristina
Only problem with app is that on droid x if you try to view your map it will end your activity and not show map though it is available online after.
Raul
Even without app to sd option, still had to support and buy pro version.
Michael
Champs
sallred84
Love it!!!
john
Great app... been using it for a month. Only problem is sometimes GPS signal gets screwed up and it says I have run 10+ miles. HTC incredible.
Rene
Works great just make sure you allow GPS to get signal before pressing start
David
GPS feature is very inaccurate and begins where your last run left off regardless of current position. Uninstalling - evo
Colin
Love this app. Expertly put together, fully featured and motivating too! The devs have obviously done a lot of running themselves. Just great guys.
Kyle
Best App I have. It really motivates me as a runner, and holds me accountable!
Aron
App itself is fine. Runkeeper has the best web UI, and now I can 'team' up with iPhone friends.
Laura
Love it! Works great, as described. HTC EGO
Leo
Could use split times instead of having to look it up on the website!
Andy
Was perfect & very accurate thru all my training, then came to the 1/2marathon, it doubled my time during the upload???
DjangosClouds
Sometimes the 1st GPS fix is wrong so get a good fix before you start - other than that it works great.
Jaed
This is a great app. There's only a few times that it gave wrong readings but other wise it is pretty accurate.
Chris
Good app and hasn't let me down yet..
Anonymous
Incredibly good gps feature got the route that I ran spot in despite being in my pocket
Anonymous
Great. Top app
ross
I found that it was excellent when it worked its just a little stubborn when you want to go for a run and it'd rather lay at home in front of the tv
ahmad
I have to restart the app like twenty times before it actually begins working
jaymit
Please add audio feedback on speed and rub planning with variable speed targets etc
carlos
Would be better if it gave u time and pace at mile intervals
jacob
Not a very good app doesn't work most of the time
Desiree
Only used once but gps was spot on, compared to other programs I've tried. Not a huge fan of the website but at least I can export my workouts.
Espen Thomassen
Very good app and website. The gps signal takes a long time to init, but that might be the hardware. Htc desire.
Val
Best app I ever bought.
kevin
Runkeeper plus Pandora plus Chicago lakefront trail equals bliss.
Dave

Jose Quesada
I know its Crap..no voice. nothing special.developer need use cardiotrainer. sportypal or another to copy. But now is crap.. and crap
JimmyJames
Does not work well in the mountains of CO. Seems to double up the mileage probably because using cell towers vs satellite.
Peter
Really great app. The one issue I have is I can't view the map of my run. Other than that, amazing. Droid x
Greg
Horrible. I ran for 2 miles and it never found my location. Tried it again and it didnt remotely follow the path i took. Unisntalled. Droid
Becky
Uninstalled today =( Used to be great; now worthless. Not sure who it's tracking but since it's in a different state then I live; I know it's not me.
Kathy
HTC desire user. Pressed stop but the timer keeps running.
ashley
Has sucked lately won't track miles only time very irritating has happened since last upgrade uninstalling if it keeps up!
Becky
Had it back up to 4 stars yesterday then it told me I ran 158 miles in my 30 minutes of running today. So frustrating when trying to train!!!
ejd

Latest update is buggy. Has force closed on me and doesn't track distance properly if screen is turned on/off in the middle of a run. Disappointed.
lee
Excellent application. Remember to ignore it of you run an app killer!!!

Chris
Fix the GPS for the Motorola Droid
Johnny
Unbelievable nice one
Nicholas
Love this app for mountain biking. Sometimes glitches when running in the background.
Katie
The mileage is never right. Just ran a 5 mile loop and it said i'd only gone 2 miles in 49 minutes.
kingmobil
GPS accuracy is horrible at best. I just ran a 25 mile 5K this morning. Good app if you are looking for a stopwatch.
Brett
When the GPS works, I love it...that's a bit hit or miss though. Unfortunately it's more misses than hits. Moto Droid.
Desiree
This makes keeping up with my daily exercise so much easier. Love it. Wish it had a widget though.
Andre R
Good UI but GPS tracking is very imprecise compared to similar apps. No way to set precision.
Linny
Very buggy. Please update! Distance on phone does not match uploaded stats.
Keith
I wish you could post activities to Facebook directly from the app
Yaser
It's very nice
Patricia
Would only work about half the time.
jose
Crap..developer need used cardio or another to copy. But now is crap.
superhik
GPS tracking does seem to be less precise than in similar programs, but otherwise this app is really simple and nice. Website part is really good.
Jessica

Vern
Awesome! Loved this on my iPhone!
AndyMarch

gLeNnO
Good app, great website integration.
Eden
My Tracks has nothing on this. So glad to see this on Android... can't wait for the Pro version.
Grey
Mega app. Some occasional unresponsiveness within the app that requires force closure.
KEL
I've been waiting for this app since I got rid of my iPhone. Pure awesomeness!!
lmjabreu
Awesome, very well done app.
Adam
Wahoo!
