Tips:
Please BACKUP YOUR IMPORTANT PHOTOS before your do file operations!
Long press a thumbnail to move/copy to another or new folder. Enter multi-select mode to find the batch operations.
Include the picture folders only in the settings to speed up the scanning.
Can't sync Picasa or Facebook or other web albums.
Can't show 3D photos yet.
Can't show TIFF.
Can't set lock screen's wallpaper.
Reinstall the app to clear your password.
Video is no my target, if you think video playing is not good enough, please go to the market and find a good one...
HTC users:
Open a photo from SMS will fail because HTC want a picture viewer to have "SMS reading permission", it means if I add this permission, my app can read all your messages! Please report this issue to HTC!

I found a winner!! I have been searching for an app to replace my gallery and I couldn't find one that *fit* me.....until this one. This app has SO many options, it's SO easy to use and it has a great ui!! It also replaces another app that I had to hide those "Girls nite out" pics from my kids! I have one problem with QuickPic when viewing at normal mode (pixelated and burst color) Just send the email to Developer then receiving the feedback and instruction from him. Very fast answer and my problem is fixed. Just use option: "Delay load real image" in Cache settings. Thanks again for his job!

This is by far the best poicture viewer on the market. It can read pictures on my sd card unlike the stock viewer and has a good layout with easy controlls. Coyld use a video codec though. Overall great app

The title would be my three words to describe this app. It's very simple because it just displays your pictures and knows to hide irrelevant images (files related to apps[ability to unhide]). It's clean because the UI puts your pictures as the center of attention no matter which display option you choose, but has powerful options under the hood that can probably do everything you want it to. It certainly has everything I need. (See description for features.)

It pixelates when zooming in even a little bit. Why is it doing that, the pictures are 10mp from an expensive digital camera. It's like it resizes the pictures when it opens them.

Tried a lot many image viewers and editors before but nothing sufficed me except this. Has a smooth interface, nice folder wise classification style and a good layout too. Though it doesnt provide highh end editing stuff but one can easily shrink and reduce the size of the image with this, one feature i was searching for. Have used this for quite a lot time now and it has just continued making me happy with nice updates and better interface tweaks.

I finally found this app after having a horrible experience with Cyanogenmod's stock gallery. Now this is my stock picture browser for both my Nook Color and my Samsung Epic 4G. It's faster and easier to use, and it's more powerful. Would like to see sync with online services, but I'm not complaining. I'm quite grateful for this app and the developer.

When i move an image one after another sometimes the image stays the same as the one i just moved it does not update to the next image. needs to have multiple select to move more then one photo at a time. Besides that I love it so far as I just installed it.

Solid, simple, functional & reliable. Needs a few more settings (thumb size?). So far my favorite, and by far. (G2, NookC/CM7, Tab2 7.0). * Packaging: under CM7 the current version does not show in Play store. (1.32 runs fine, though). * Enhancement: add change orientation by image size, but just by rotating the image (keeping status bar in place) * Needs for ICS: recognizing the SD card named different than mnt/sdcard (some pinhead at Goo used this name for a part of internal storage, WHY?)

I loved this app, UNTIL I realized that it does not store my images on my SD card. I cannot retrieve my images off my phone, other than one by one using bluetooth. I have tried synching phone to computer and removing SD card to a card reader. I cannot delete this app as my photos are being held hostage. And all new images are also going into god knows where. (My phone is set to store on SD card, but this app ignores that) Becareful, the permissions does say it will modify SD card and they are not kidding. One of the first apps I install. I do wish it loaded pics a bit faster. It doesn't seem to allow for folders within folders. It will just list all the folders separately anyway. Other than that, it's great and has a lot of options.

Have the samsung transformer ultra. I reformated shrinked re edited pics in the stock gallery tryed so many trobleshooting read android axp or w.e u call it forms and couldn't fix the stupid clitch of having 1.135 pics in 1folder and in the stock gallery it said 1.095 which clearly means not right. Downloaded astro pro it was okey and was telling me the same info as my pc but I wanted a gallery not a file explore so I tryed this and downloaded and I fliped because it was easy as cake. I find it to be flawless. It does exactly what it needs to do and it does it fast. I can even hide folders, exclude/include folders from search and it even shows your videos as well as hidden pics you don't even need (which you can easily delete using the app itself!) Hide folders and unhide them when needed. You have the option to enter your own password to then unlock those hidden folders for viewing. All these options and yet the user interface is very intuitive and user-friendly. A straight 5/5 app.

Used QuickPic to change my phone's lock screen's wallpaper (via the phone's settings menu), and the phone keeps restarting ever since. Good thing I had a nandroid backup. After the whole fiasco, I accessed the Play Store via my PC and the developer claims that the app "Can't set lock screen's wallpaper!". BS! If it can do it *outside* the app (albeit crashing the whole OS) why did they keep the option? Waste of time 0/5 Fix your app Alen Software.

I don't look through my pictures that much but I really started having a problem with the Gallery that comes with the phone. Every time I used it, it seemed to find yet another folder with picture files in it that were really pics I wanted to see. Like album covers to songs, and jpg file from weatherbug etc. It got annoying. I love how this app will let you pic a lot of different settings including which folders to include or exclude. I keep all my pics/vids from the camera in their default folder and any movies etc. that I rip into another folder. highly recommend.

Great gallery app, definitely better than the stock android gallery app. However, I wish it did two things that the android gallery does that this currently doesn't. First is that it should save picture orientation when you manually rotate an image using the app. Secondly, when you go into a folder with images and then full screen an image, there should be a scrollable thumbnail bar at the bottom of the screen like there is with the standard gallery so that you can quickly get to another photo without having to go back to the folder overview.

Ok this viewer used to be really good and the best but since the updates it has heaps of problems. The 2 major ones is that it takes to come up with the thumbnails and access the photos, 2nd is since it takes ages to access, it crashes and now my photos are now going into the lost dir and renames it to an unknown file. Please fix this and make it run more smoothly and quicker as it used to be QUICK!! Hence the name!

I docked it a star because the two most often-used commands (share and delete) are in the top bar and not the menu (a recent change). So I end up wasting clicks... a lot. Otherwise a fabulous app! I especially love how you can make shortcuts to certain photo folders.

Not that there's anything wrong with that. QuickPic is a simple photo/video viewer that nevertheless makes it easy to organize your pictures and videos on your phone. There are a couple of different view options. It also allows you to delete, copy and move files in any way that make sense to you. It also will create folders for you on the fly.

99% 5 star and "Marice" gives it 1 for not starting LOL, it is so easy to blame the app. This developer works very hard, so says his girlfriend, at updating and fixing issues immediately. He is a good example for other "code jockeys". The zoom feature is 20x better than the native player and a video player is included. This app. should be standard on all Android phones... The few complaints come from folks unwilling or unable, to work hard, or even soft, to understand their phones...

This is a great app! I use my tablet for photography. Pictures are ftp'd directly from my camera to a directory on the tablet. I use QuikPik to view the pic from that directory, but it doesn't refresh the folder contents automatically. I have to exit the folder and reopen it to see the new pics. Can you add an option to rescan specific folders at a regular interval? Thanks.

1. Delete/share at top right hard to reach. 2. Add rotate to the delete/share buttons so it takes less taps to do. 3. Don't ask whether to rotate clockwise or counterclockwise - most people have to pause to figure it out. Just rotate clockwise (most common), and if I want it counterclockwise, I can just quick tap the button twice more. This is the way Vignette and Instagram do it.

for some reason it takes long time to load gallery and it often reloads every time i open it in Galaxy s2 2.3.6gb. previous versions did not have this issue

I am a 50+ technophobe married to a technology enthusiast who gave me an Asus Eepad. I have struggled to get to grips with it and was completely defeated when trying to download and catalogue the pictures off my digital camera. The android friendly Picasa 'tools' were beyond me and I was about to give up when I googled photo-managing apps for the Eepad and came across a review for Quikpic. Now , being easy to use for people like me may not be a 'plus' in everyone's eyes, but I cannot praise this enough for it's ease of use and effectiveness. Users are not blinded by the vast number of drop down menus or confused by the incomprehensibility of some of the options; in short 'it does what is says on the tin' in a few easy steps. Quickpic works kinda like the standard gallery app only so much better. I use Quickpic for all my music, videos and photos. Very easy to locate what you want due to the big clear folder icons. You can set your default media player so that it opens with that player automatically. If no default is set it gives you a choice of the players installed. And so much more. BRILIANT

An excellent companion to a photographer using an Asus Transformer. Take some photos, then insert a SD card into the tablet, and QuickPic does a great job at letting you review/show your photos with little fuss. Loads quickly and also browses high resolution photos rapidly by first showing a low res image and then loading the full quality version. If I had any complaints/requests, one would be RAW format support I shoot RAW+JPEG right now, so this is not a big deal breaker. Though I would really like a "refresh" command on the album view. Currently, if you insert an SD card while in the album view, you have to enter and exit one of the existing albums for the SD card directory to show up.

QuickPic views photos at full resolution - many stock galleries will reduce resolution for the sake of smooth navigation, but QuickPic offers the best of both worlds. 撮影した写真をQuickPicを使って別のフォルダーに移動したところ、移動先のその写真が入っているフォルダーが２つになり重複しました。 2/23にQuickPicを入れ直した直後にはおかしくなかったのですが上記のような不具合が発生していました。 ですが，昨日QuickPicをアンインストールしてからインストールし直すと，インターフェースががらりと変わり， 以後不具合が発生しておりません。 もしかしたらアップデートがうまくいっていなかったことが原因かもしれません。 アップデートしてからおかしくなった人は，一旦削除してアプリを入れ直すことをお勧めします。

Be sure to switch on force 32bit image decode to view images in full 16.7m color. Can even hide folders from Gallery media scan if instructed and even password protect access through the app. (still acceptable via file explorer, so be sure to hide the folder)

This is the best picture viewer I have found. Like oter, it shows pictures from all subfolders in parallell, ignoring the folder structure. This is vere annoying as it makes a mess of any attempt to structure the images. I hope you can add an option to respect folder structure.

It wasn't bad enough that "Share" got moved from the sensible place--the menu--to a stupid little button in the top corner, now the "Delete" button is right next to it? Seriously? I know there's a prompt, but those two functions shouldn't be side by side in the first place. I try to hit "Share", hit "Delete" instead, then have to cancel and try again. Are you *trying* to make it take longer to do anything?

This app does have sharing, look at a picture and in the top right corner is the share button. They moved it from the last version and yes it is a little hard to see (after the picture loads tap it to see the top toolbar). Developer you may want to point this out to people, as I appreciate your great app and it deserves the 5 stars.

I love this app on my phone, but in updating my Motorola Xoom to 3.2 it has broken - fails to look at the external sd card. Google changed the name of the sd card to external1 instead of sdcard-ext.

This app is great. It's much faster than the stock Gallery app, and includes really useful tools like cropping and resizing. The only thing I would really like to see is a "zoom percentage" or something similar denoting how zoomed in/out you are when viewing an image.

This photo viewer is great. definitely much better than the default gallery. however, its so sad that its such a power hog. i did this test, open default gallery, browser through all my photos in one album, then did the same with quickpic, both appear in my battery usage, quickpic used 2-3 times more battery power. IMO, the smooth animation and nice grid view is not worth the extra battery drain.

My only gripe when i left bb for android was not being able to do what this app does. Some may find it complicated if you are not familiar with the files & folders on your sd card. Don't like the icon? use a different launcher that allows you to change icon pictures.

Excellent - could be better for tablets Great app (so 5 stars), but the thumbnails look small on my 7" tablet. Would be nice to have an option to increase the size and to choose rectangular sizes not just cropped to square. There are bits of FishBowl Photo Gallery Beta that I prefer to QuickPic - thumbnails seem faster (also bigger) in FishBowl, but full-screen view is faster and more intuitive in QuickPic. If only I could get the best of both?

What a fab quick app !!! Been looking for an app that will treat folders as albums rather than putting them all together in a single view. This one is the best I have seen so far, very quick. very good app I like QuickPic very much. It will be possible to minimize the moment of clearizing the pix? On my mobile it took about 1 sec for clearing the pix. Only because of this "effect" now I am forced to use the preinstalled viewer. Please improve this "clearance". In general - good job! Keep doing it. Best regards.

Doesn't Rotate It is way better than the default Gallery app. Quickpic is cleaner and faster, however it doesnt rotate my pictures. It says it rotates them and shows them rotated in my phone but the image remains un-rotated as a file. If you see details, a 640x1024 image remains 640x1024, instead of becoming 1024x640

Awesome when it finally loads pics. Loads mini thumbnails on half my folders, then stops. Open a folder and it freezes for a while before loading pics

Buggy on Xoom / Honeycomb Opens but works quite buggy. When you touch a thumbnail, the first image always opens, no matter which thumbnail. Scrolling from side to side is very very choppy, when it works, most of the time, it doesn't. Hope you'll update this to work on Honeycomb!
