Ever the master of keeping its fans on tenterhooks, PopCap has been releasing info about its Android plans in well-calculated drips. First we got the exclusive news that it would be releasing Plants vs Zombies and Peggle onto the platform in 'early 2011'. Then, recently, we found some casual snaps of the games running on an Android device, hinting that a dual release might perhaps be imminent. Now has managed to eke some more information out of the house of Bejeweled. It might not be what you Android-owning PopCap fans wanted to hear, though. Back in November we brought you the exclusive news that PopCap was set to make its Android debut with a one-two punch of and . The time-scale provided at the time was “early 2011.” Well, we’re now living in “early 2011,” and right on cue we've stumbled upon some shots of the games running on Android hardware. Twitter user Greenspeak (listed as PopCap's director of editorial and Social Media, Jeff Green) has taken a couple of photos of the two hit games running on an Android device. He also offers the following sage commentary: “OMG! I'm playing Peggle on an Android phone!
