As we draw closer to the end of year, we wanted to reflect on some of the apps that seemed to have taken 2011 by storm.  It was only a year ago that the Android Market hit the 200,000 apps milestone, and now we are talking 10 billion app downloads and beyond. Jet Car Stunts is an addictive and well-crafted stunt driving game. You must maneuver your crazy rocket car to the end of every level, hitting checkpoints on the way. Using a turbo boost, power slide, and crazy tilt-based steering controls, you turn, swerve, and even fly to victory. The game offers a lot of content, from tons of main levels, to time trials and OpenFeint achievements. Jet Car Stunts looks and plays great on a tablet device. The controls are a bit unwieldy with the larger screen, and tilt controls are normally uncooperative as it is. This makes several challenges far more difficult than is necessary. One game I absolutely loved on iOS was Jet Car Stunts. In my eyes, the game was both addicting and a pleasure to look at graphically. It was because of this that I became extremely excited a few months ago when I heard that Jet Car Stunts was going to launch on Android. Having now played Jet Car Stunts for quite some time, I jumped at the chance to interview True Axis' Luke Ryan, the man who worked on bringing the game to Android. Having just released the full version of Jet Car Stunts, mobile game development company True Axis also decided to release a demo version of the game, aka Jet Car Stunts Lite (currently live in the Market). Like the full version, the lite version features OpenFeint compatibility and gives users the ability to make huge jumps and fly through the air doing crazy stunts.
