I use this programme extensively when travelling and it's fantastic: diagnosing odd parasitic illness and what to do when in hell-hole counties has proven a life saver. Only wish it had more about options of meds as cures, and more specific info on each antibiotic.

If cant plug in info.. Less than desireable drug list, immature info provided, doesnt retain input info to store as personal record. Retrieve info that is inadequate-useless. Needs a complete make over to become a good app. Uninstalling.

My pain doc wasn't listed and the program has no exit from Homepage other than backing out of every page I have been through and it asked me to review the app after first use as it looked like a quick way out. Guess I will find out now or I have two more pages to back out.

This is a good AP with a lot of good medical info. But I was looking for something with more info on how to best stabilize an injury before transporting an injured person to a hospital.

Categorized information via an Ajax like breakdown of treatment, symptoms, specialists and common medications used for treatment. They are very responsive in you're feedback.

best in its class but y does it take the internal memory to store the database when the app is stored in sd card..for us users with limited memory we have got no choice but to uninstall it..not worth the 10 mb that it takes from 190mb of internal space..webmd isnt as good but atleast it saves a lot of precious memory..too bad..wud come again to check though..hope they see to it as quick as they cud..

Some things r missing n dey need to put more specific spots to point ur problems out! Like Under my skin behind my ear, would swell up sometimes n I never get it checked out y in time b4 it goes away (too lazy) but den I realised it happens when I have. Some sort of infection! But I didn't know where! Anyway I figured out where but still don't know what it is or y its there im thinking swollen lymph but do they exist there? THAT'S WHAT I MEAN ABOUT BEING MORE SPECIFIC ABOUT WHERE THE SYMPTOMS OR PROBLEMS R!

Really could use the ability to enter multiple symptoms.. its just "ok" at the "what could I have" part. Symptom checker is too simple and vague.. I rarely use it, and quite frankly there are other symptom checkers without so much bloat.. and the "where to go" part is information already easily found with any smart phone.. and actually so is much more detailed symptom information with any data plan.. The overall concept is there, but it really just doesn't deliver anything not already at your fingertips..

Even when the app is installed on Sd, it puts a 10mb database on internal memory. This is a big problem for devices with limited internal memory. I emailed them and they said this is a limitation of Android, but I have lots of other apps that store much larger databases on Sd.

This app is NO GOOD!!!!! this is why when you call an office we are not supposed to give any medical information without seeing a patient. I types in fever and got a whirlwind of possible illnesses and diseases that are no where near what the actual problem was. Plain ridiculous. People: calm down. It's not as serious as you think it is. The internet is a horrible thing. Ask any doctor, they will tell you if you seek you shall find. GO SEE A DOCTOR YOUR NOT DYING OF A RARE BLOOD DISORDER IT'S A COLD!!

The very first facility I looked up, a major regional Level One Trauma Center & teaching hospital, this program listed a phone number that was several years out of date, and added 24 miles to the distance from my current location. NOT dependable in an emergency. I will be deleting.

Commonplace. Just like other "diagnose my illness" apps. They ask where the pain is, then list all the possible maladies for that part of the body. Needs ability to put multiple symptoms in, then filter the maladies by those symptoms. How many diseases present with upper abdominal pain? Could be narrowed down with the ability e.g. to include bowel movement disorders and fever. Would make it quicker to read the possible ailments then, because there would be fewer of them.
