The new money comes on the heels of the Series A round, when the company managed to raise $3.25. Sweet App for last minute rooms We could do some cross research to figure out the neighborhood and hotel information but had no idea what kind of room we would get in DC. We ended up walking distance from Georgetown and Dupont Circle with a lovely suite (including a kitchen) that overlooked the Washington Monument on one side and Rosslyn/Key Bridge/Watergate on the other. Unbelievable for the price we paid.

Pretty good, needs a bit of tech work Used HotelTonight last night in Denver. We intentionally waited until mid-afternoon to book a room to try the app. Got a room easily at the airport for $89 (check-in clerk said they were averaging around $150 and he couldn't believe we got the price we did-- and he was just fine to us, no "second class citizen" stuff). App needs to load much faster and change screens and scroll faster (on an HTC Incredible). Good idea, reasonably well executed. I'll definitely use it again.

Also, it serves only major metro areas (currently), so don't expect to find deals in smaller, regional spots.

Overall, I felt it easy to book my stay, although I do wish there were more choices instead of just the initial 3. Cool that they added the feature of additional rooms if the 3 sell out, but who's willing to wait until 6pm to book a room they need that night. What if they don't find anything suitable in time? Kind of risky..

Needs more cities, particularly Tampa Title says it all... can't think of a good reason not to have Tampa listed. Orlando maybe - hotels can be tricky with the amusements - but the entire Tampa (Bay Area) market? C'mon, guys.
