You can sync with your google tasks perfectly. And you can share you list or your task item easily via gmail/note in reader/messaging /google docs and so on.
** Widget doesn't work if GTasks was installed on SD card,please move it back and reboot your device. ANDROID OS DOESN'T SUPPORT THAT!!! **

The way I see it, smartphones are productivity enhancing devices. Sure there are games — quite a few of them actually, some of which could literally eat your time — but there is also a number of apps that will help you better organize your work and life, while at the same time improving your productivity. The way I see it, if some device doesn’t help me be at least a bit more productive then I don’t buy it. Actually it’s the software rather than hardware that makes all the difference. This app is the closest thing to a task list that works for me that I have tried out, and I have tried many! Like Business Calendar, the functionality of this app for me is in the widget, where I can see and access important time-sensitive information and events at a glance and organize them in an intuitive manner. However, my main problem with this app is that the widget often fails to load on my Galaxy Tab 10.1. The frame is there and is unresponsive and without content. I have to load the app itself the populate the widget. It's a minor annoyance, but I would appreciate if it were addressed. Overall - great concept, widgets need work on the tablet.

I am SO much more organized with this app (and I'm an "A" type to begin with). I love that I can sync this with my google calendar, drag tasks to the day I want them, make multiple lists, and create repeating events. My two qualms with it are 1.) the widget is too light and the text on the widget is too small. I played with all three available widgets and color options to find the one that is the most readable but it still needs lots of help in this area. 2.) I would like to be able to set times for the tasks so that I can organize the tasks with the available time I have in my day and view them in the order I need to accomplish them. This is by far my biggest qualm but considering all the other stuff it does, I'm a happy camper.

Love to use this on my phone to write down tasks, lists, quotes, etc to later go back and review. Unfortunately, with last update... not only did app stop working on my HTC, I didn't sync and lost all my data. Highly encourage synching!! UPDATE... uninstalled and installed again... because I really did enjoy app. Much to my surprise... Google synched my info FOR ME and I still have all my data!!! Excited and giving this 5 stars vs my previous 3 stars

It's good but there's minor issue when using with Android Agenda Widget, there's always an empty task showing up if there's no other tasks. I'd rate 5 stars would this issue is fixed.

I've been using Gtasks for a couple months now, but today I tried deleting an entry in one of my lists when suddenly all my lists were suddenly set to default! I can't decide if Google servers were to blame or if the auto sync got out of hand, but I do know I was hating every minute reorganizing my lists back to the way I like them (colors/checklists/order).

Tried a lot of to-do apps and I'm sticking with this one. Gets the fundamentals right. Really needs true drag n drop rather than arrow up down. The paid app is too expensive at $5.99. It's just a simple to-do app, more like $1.99 would be ok.

Was able to add widget onto my screen when initially downloaded it. Now it just says "Problem Loading Widget" and can't be re-added as it doesn't show up as a widget anymore. Recent update kept it on my screen for a few days but went back to same problem.

When are you going to have a widget with a black background? Unresponsive, arrogant developer. Get Notes for ICS instead. It's already as good and it just came out. Wish I never bought gTasks for the black background. Notes for ICS has it for free, including the widget.

Really great if you pair it with sign in and sync with google home page. you can make the list before hand and push it to your phone, much easier to type on the computer keyboard. I like the feature the you can check the items on the list but no erase them if you don't want to. You can use it like an reoccurring shopping list just check and uncheck each week on the items that you need to buy without having to retype it each time. Sometimes the igoogle list locks up but just refresh it from the browser button.

Whenever I click on a task it now says please allow access to your google account, allow or deny. However no matter which I choose you have to press it about 50 times as it keeps popping straight back up again! Back button doesn't bypass this either!

9b update messed up the look of tasks in the scrollable widget on both my devices. All tasks show bold white, indicating due today. Reverted to 9a and it works fine. Non scroll widget shows tasks correctly on all versions. Still not working in 0.9.9h

Very useful app but bug introduced: the ordering of the items in the widget and the app is different. Widget ordering is now alphabetically, which is hardly a feature. Previously the ordering matched in widget and app.

I like to use tasks apps to manage things that may be recurring, like grocery shopping items or packing lists, or pre-trip readiness. All of these sorts of lists have something in common - that eventually, you'll want to uncheck all or some items. IE: ran out of milk and paper towels, uncheck them because I need it again. Gtasks doesn't deal with this very well. I like that it syncs with Google Tasks, but it doesn't let me hide completed items when I check them. This leads to a very cluttered list that is a nuisance to browse through when shopping or packing. To make matters worse, every single time you leave the task list page and then return to it, it brings you all the way back up to the top so you have to scroll through all of your items to find where you left off. It is such a nuisance that I find the app nearly un-usable for adding or editing tasks from within the app. It has so much potential, but the development has been stagnant and the UI paradigm is just unnatural.

This is an excellent app - it does exactly what I need it to do. The ability to use it offline and sync once reconnected to the Net is invaluable. It behaves and looks much like the Tasks pane in your browser; the indenting is definitely handy. It fills the gap in the lineup of apps from Google.

Yes, it could be more "featured" but the point of the app is to "simply" provide and manage reminders, which it does exceptionally well. Slick UI and picks up all lists for each available account. My life is complicated as are my tasks. Glad the app is not. Call return feature is cool but for now makes my large list even more formidable! Thanks devs and great work!

This app's interface is very nice and actually looks and acts like an Android app (unlike any.do, remember the milk, and others I've tried). It looks nice, but it's also functional; at this point, it could almost pass for an actual Google app. The only issue I had with it was its ugly widget, but that's since been corrected. Great stuff.

i've loved this app since i got it but a couple months ago something very scary happened. i was editing tasks and all of a sudden ALL my reminders just vanished and i was left with was the mobile list view and a message saying welcome. needless to say i freaked. then after a few minutes all my tasks came back out of thin air but the times were all wiped. which meant i had to then go back and reassign times to ALL of them! that has happened 2 times after that the most recent occurrence being last night. this is annoying to say the least. i've also noticed that when a notification comes up and you tap on it you no longer get the option to snooze. that option comes up at the sole discretion of the app. as i said i loved this app but until those bugs are worked out i feel forced to look for something else.

The interface may not be pretty, but GTasks works as advertised. It consistently and correctly syncs with Google Tasks, which is what I am asking it to do. You have a lot of flexibility in terms of creating Task Lists or Categories and Google will then mirror them on the Internet. You have room to include extensive notes on each task (such as a grocery list, etc.) and there is a share feature. I use it to manually place a time-intensive task on my calendar. You can also view your Google calendar in the app itself. I don't want to suggest too many features, as this generally dooms ANY app, but having a task auto-populate with a contact's phone number when writing "Call..." would be nice.

Surprisingly enough, there is no app directly from Google, as if they were looking at Tasks through their fingers. However, they are an excellent feature, absolutely necessary for proper time management. If it was not for this app, they would be completely abandoned on Android.

So I'm totally in love with seeing calendar and my tasks in one place. It's AWESOME! My only complaint is that if you set up an appointment in your calendar that starts one day and lasts for a couple days, the app only shows the first day in the list. So once the first day is over, it doesn't show that you still have something else on the calendar. Once you put that in there, it's best app ever!

A simple and clean UI that is designed to act as a lifejacket keeping you afloat in the sea of data. This app would easily get 5 stars, but it currently has two annoying bugs that duplicates entries and reorders the lists when synching . When/if the developer fixes these it will be a great app. It is nicely designed, easy to use, yet has good list features. If you prefer simple drag and drop verses more involved priority ordering, this is a good choice, but check this free version first for the bugs.

Would be my todo app of choice if it were relyable. But after waiting during months for a fix, the app keeps creating empty entries, duplicating existing ones and causing massive data loss, specially when syncing after working offline for a while (even when there are no changes on the server side). The "you can't do that while syncing" message is terribly annoying, too. Don't use unless you are ok with lossing your data on a regular basis.

I've been using it for a couple of months, then tried out a different bunch of apps, eventually came back because of the clear widget, folder display also on widget with colours, uncluttered but detailed notifications and flawless sync with tasks in the google pages. It would really be perfect for me if I could enter 'call contact' reminders that would make the call with one tap straight from the notification. Nokia s40 could do that, I can't understand why smartphones don't, the nokia e5 couldn't neither.

I installed this app based on the overwhelming number of positive reviews. It worked well initially but stopped syncing with my Google task list. I did not get an error message and I could find no trouble shooting help so I stopped using the app and on this basis would not recommend it. I subsequently installed Google Tasks Organizer which in my opinion has better functionality and syncs reliably.

I've tried ten different task apps and I like the 'feel' of the GTasks interface best. One thing missing is the ability to sync and view multiple Google accounts at the same time. This may not be an issue for you but it's a deal breaker for me. I hope this feature gets added. Until it is, I'll be using a different tasks app.

Simple, efficient, clean It is basic, because Google Tasks is basic. If you are not a GTD fan, this is the right amount of complexity for most people. It would be nice if tasklist could be shared between accounts (i.e. people) for shopping lists etc, but this is a Google limitation and not a GTasks fault.

Great, but missing local backup A great app, but it misses local backup to SD card. This is especially handy, when you change the ROM of the phone. Looks like the sync goes only one way: phone to cloud. So, if the task list is empty, you can't restore easily by syncing it back to phone...

Basic but excellent functionality I've switched to Astrid now that it supports Google Tasks syncing, but GTasks is still a great choice for those who prefer a more basic task manager. Everything it does (or at least everything it did when I used it), it either did perfectly from the start or the developer was quick to fix/improve.
