As crazy as this sounds, I still have friends who don’t have a cell phone. Those same friends, believe it or not, all have a laptop, desktop, or iPod Touch (since Android is seriously lacking in an alternative at the moment) which they use to stay glued to Facebook. So if I can’t easily text or call them, what am I supposed to do? Facebook has a chat client built right in for their Android client! No notification for new messages. Can't see past messages too. Just bad. The facebook messenger app is much much better. I found out that I have new messages through facebook messenger, right after I logged out from this app. I don't like the advertisements at the bottom of the app too. Going to uninstall this app now.

Its works quite good...favourites n alias features r best...bt nly 1 minor prob...it is very sensitive to ur network connect...if net connection is broken even if for just 1 sec...den also it ll stop workin...u have to log out..n do log in again...dats d nly prob I faced.

Haven't really had any problems with this app so far apart from its signed me out a few times without me knowing. As chat on facebook is really slow I downloaded this and its a lot faster and u can send more stuff to people and be notified when people come on and off line

If a chat app pretends to send your messages but DOESN'T, and also misses some messages sent to you, then it's not doing its job. Using the FB site is better than this.

I use this app all the time on both a razr and nexus. For both phones it will randomly disconnect after a while and you will have to restart the app. When it disconnects it doesn't tell you and everything "seems" to still be working but you won't receive messages and people won't get yours. Please fix this issue or maybe just have a way to receive the messages you didn't get while disconnected.

nice app and id have rated it 5 stars if i was able to chat to friends who were using the facebook messenger, i have one friend who used blackberry facebook and they show up in "chat" but the others all have a mobile icon next to there name but i can send messages when using facebook on my laptop or that crappy fb app they have updated which does not allert me to new messages. if you can add support to allow messae sending to those friends who have mobile icons next to there online status i will change my rateing. It keeps giving me an error when connecting now. If you press 'Okay' it then says 'loading Facebook Authentication...' which does nothing but open up a tiny tab of Facebook. I'd give five stars, BUT NOT FOR A MALFUNCTIONING APP. >:(

Works good for friends that are on laptops or computers.. if your friend is using an ipod it doesn't show that they're online and you don't get notified that they send you a msg until a half hour later.. I got the pro version and didn't improve.. uninstalled both

The app itself is downright awesome and works great. However, if you don't exit when you are done and let it run in the background, you can expect MAJOR battery drain. I turned it on and 3 hours later I had less than 1% batter power left. It was at 100% when I started it. My battery usually lasts all day and into the next when I don't touch it.. That was a huge drain.

Also, when i'm chatting on a computer, I keep getting notifications on my phone. It would be great if I could chat on my computer without my phone going "Droid" every few seconds. Nice feature for chatting, but 4.38mb!, WOW, I WAS SURPRISED AT THAT. It Is the total mb, before sdcard save,why do they lie about size?
