Gasbuddy is one of many gas station price trackers on the Market, but consistently has the best prices of all the apps I check. GasBuddy works like most of the other price-finding apps out there. Either enter a zip code of where you want to find gas or choose "Find Gas Near Me." From there, GasBuddy will give you a list of gas stations and their associated gas prices. By default, the stations are listed closest to furthest, but you can also sort them by price. Dynolicious uses your phone's built-in accelerometers to recording everything from 0-60 times and skidpad g-forces to full lap—uhh, commute times, annotated with stats. I love being able to check the gas prices in several locations at once and when they were last updated. I would also like to be able to view or comment if there is an issue with a station such as pumps are closed or station under construction.

When I first noticed this app while searching for something to help locate gas stations that would identify and show the nearest and least expensive gasoline, I tried my zipcode and discovered these places... The gas prices at the gas stations I found were accurate but to get the cheapest price I had to pay in cash which isn't a problem. Withdrawing money from the ATM just to purchase gasoline is not something I want to do all the time, however, that's better than spending 10¢… KEEP UP THE GREAT JOB!!! :-)

Wow this ia the type of app i've been looking for to quickly locate good deals on diesel for my commercial 24feet box truck. Other apps ok but they dont realyl show all around stations together like gasbuddy. Truck dedicated apps wiil never bring you up the best prices around the gasbuddy does. Understandable big rigs dont fit everywhere but my 24' is just like rv so gasbuddy rocks for me! Ahhh good stuff!!!

Great app. Love the ability for anyone to update so that prices keep very current. My only issue now are the ads which mysteriously started showing up after an update. It is too easy to accidentally hit the ad button which takes you away from the app. This then frustratingly takes you longer to get to what you want......cheapest gas prices! I take off a star for that as I enjoyed the original version, ad free.

App is amazingly useful, as everyone else said. However, GB needs to include a field for "ultra" gas above premium. People keep entering the ultra fuels (93) in the premium (91) field. This messes up the price reporting and will continue until GB supports all the gas types at the pump.

It's okay for finding low gas prices, but doesn't provide enough information. In many cases the posted prices are for "cash only" prices and not the credit / debit card prices which the station elects to add a surcharge. With the credit card usage fee those prices are often more expensive than other stations. One very important improvement would be if the app automatically determined your location by GPS so you wouldn't have to type in the zip code (which you may not know if you're on the road). In addition the advertisements are very intrusive and (probably intentionally) designed so you hit them by accident when selecting another function.

This app has saved me a lot of dough... I found diesel for up to $0.25 cheaper, by driving just a little out of the way. Often only a mile or so. While traveling, the price of fuel near the highway is way higher, now I can find it cheaper. Thanks. If you download app, register, so u can update prices for everyone else too!

I love the concept of this app, but it's only a useful app if a lot of people in your city use the app regularly. In my city I seem to be one of the few people who use it, so the gas prices are never up to date. The good thing about this app is that it tells you when the price was last updated, so you have a good idea if the price is current before you drive to the station.

This app really helps if you are pinching every penny. However, if u see a really low price, call ahead, there might be restrictions that need to know. One place's prices that were listed were only valid between 10pm - 6am!! Drove over there for NO SAVINGS!!! Just be cautious. Otherwise, love this app!

really enjoyed being able to get the scoop on the best gas prices. Here is what I'd like to see implemented. 1. give some kind of the doT or symbol or something to differentiate cash from credit prices. 2. the app does not always update quickly or accurately. 3. it would be very useful if the app could detect which direction I'm driving and focus on gas stations and not behind me.

I search for price first, to get an idea of competitive prices, then by location, since I m not going to drive 12 miles for a nickel dscount (that would be about half a gallon of gas, plus time, to save $1 on a full tank) but then I CHECK THE MAP for a good deal on ny way!

Sometimes you will get the occasional gas station that hasn't been updated but if so you just update it and get points towards free gas. Great app in my opinion. Works well on HTC EVO 4G

Only 4 stars because after update to v2.11 if I stay logged in all the time it absolutely kills my battery. I'm not talking about having my GPS on, it's just being logged into the app. So it's now not as awesome bc it's not as convenient to use, having to log in and out every time to report prices, and I can't uninstall the update. But you can find prices without logging in so i'm still overall very happy with the app and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. Just monitor its battery usage.

My boyfriend and I commute at least 100 miles a day so any savings is great, we rely on Gas Buddy to help us find the cheapest gas along our route. We are planning a trip west in May and Gas Buddy will be with us so we can plan out the best gas stops and save cash. I agree though, we need E85 gas in here as well while it's not that common to find we have 2 vehicles that can use it but if you don't know its available...you miss it :(

A lot of stations lately display significantly lower price per gallon, which draws in more traffic. Only to find out that the lower price is part of a promotion where you have to buy a car wash or large pizza to get that lower ppg. I don't like this. I would like to know ahead of time what the real ppg is. Create a button or indicator that users can tap when they update a price, to let others know that the price is part of a promotion.

When you are at red light and want to pull prices quickly it prevents you from doing that unless you go through the nagging of "do you have account " answering no, then being asked "do you want to create one now ". Giving in and creating an account is not a solution either because when you update the software it signs you out.
