Not sure why they took off one of the best features of this awesome dictionary. Made it not worth keeping on my phone anymore. Please re add Google Translate. Not sure why you'd remove something that was working so well. I could put up with ads but when things start disappearing then it really becomes unusable.

Pronounciation is often pretty bad. The asian accent is obvious even though understandable. But I would not use the pronounciation in my speech. Get a native brit to speak the english words. It's disappointing that such a polished dictionary doesn't get the sounds right. Apart from that I have no complaints.

This update added Ads. The reason I had for using this is now gone. Now it is Ads on History AND Search tabs. Is it going to stop at that? What else will be affected by subsequent updates? This update causes FBreader to Force Close when using the dictionary. Will be changing to Fora Dictionary instead. Bye bye, ColorDict. Should have chosen to use Fora Dictionary all along. Many had supported and cheered this app on for a good reason.

Very good WordNet based free dictionary. It works like a charm. The results are presented in a very nice to read form. It includes sound files with pronunciation. With Internet connection enabled, it also shows first paragraphs of Wikipedia articles with links. Yes, it contains ads, but really non-intrusive. By the way, I wonder how many of these complaining folks play for example Angry Birds - the game which reads your phone numbers, calling history and contacts data. On the contrary, ColorDict does not need any questionable permissions.

Hi there, i have a problem with ColorDict I'm using Sony Ericsson X10i i cannot check any word starting with letter "i", ie: iridescent when i press "SEARCH" button, it crashed and show up to force closed. Anyone can advice me on this? thanks :)

I installed this for Moon+ Reader but the only English dictionary for it is Word Net, which is limited in scope and lacks etymological information.

Best Dictionary app I've seen I downloaded and tried a number of different dictionary apps. This one seems to me to be the best one out there. Easy to navigate, lots of dictionaries available for it, easily customizable and easy to read. History is great, but of course it would be nice to have some syncing available or a list of chosen words. Note: There are ads. They aren't terribly annoying, but I would no doubt pay for a paid no-app version. It would be a nice option.
