Reach your friends on their desktop or mobile device with Bobsled. No need for your friends to download anything to receive your calls!
Simply tap on a friend to call them. Bobsled will find them on Facebook, their Android, or their iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch, and connect the call. If they are not there, send a Facebook chat message right from the app. Always stay connected with your friends.
Listening to a rockin’ band and want to share the love but not interested in chatting live? Or maybe you’d like to record and send your boyfriend a Happy Birthday message? No problem - Bobsled lets you record a Voice Message and post it to your friend’s Facebook wall.
And your friends can also reach you on Bobsled, either from the Bobsled browser app or their Bobsled Mobile app.
Bobsled is a new way to communicate centered around your social circle. Today, that means one-touch calls with or without phone numbers wherever your friends may be. Expect great things in future releases, including video calling and support for new devices.

T-Mobile has extended its Bobsled VoIP service, broadening use from Facebook to cover access from the browser, from new Android apps, and with apps for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. In addition to the new apps, there are also free mobile and landline calls in the US, Canada and Puerto Rico, though the Android/iOS software currently only supports calls direct to Facebook contacts. If you want free general calls, you’ll need to log in through the browser interface instead. Still, using the mobile apps you can make Bobsled to Bobsled calls, cross-platform between Android and iOS, and leave voicemails that get flagged up on your Facebook contacts’ walls. It’s also possible to record a voice message and leave that pinned to someone’s wall, rather than actually talk to them. In effect it’s a clever way for T-Mobile to potentially get onto hundreds of thousands of iPhone homescreens, despite being the only major US

T-Mobile updated its VoIP service Bobsled with new features. The new functionality provides users with an easy way to call Facebook friends from most desktop browsers, Android-powered smartphones and tablets, as well as Apple iOS devices. In addition, the service now provides users with free calls to any mobile or landline phone number in the U.S, Canada or Puerto Rico from inside or outside the U.S. from a desktop browser. Once signed into Bobsled in your browser, you get to call, message or voice message with your Facebook buddies for free. Dialing is not part of the equation – all you have to do is click on a friend’s name to start the conversation. Similarly, you don’t have to remember screen names to text or call a friend. When it comes to mobile apps, these allow users to call or voice message their Facebook friends for free. Dial-out functionality is still
