AlarmDroid is a feature-rich alarm clock application. It is created to give every Android-User the opportunity to wake up his(her) own way, not caring about whether he(she) is an early bird or a morning grouch.
AlarmDroid's special feature is the flip'n'snooze feature, which allows the user to turn the alarm clock back into snooze mode by turning over the phone. Further, it provides a speaking clock, which does not only announce the time but even the local weather conditions.
These and more features are waiting to be discovered by you! Even internet radio stations are supported as alarm tone.

Recently updated my Galaxy Note to ICS, and notice now, when the screen lock is on, when the alarm sounds it no longer automatically unlocks the screen. I this a bug with AlarmDroid or a problem in ICS?

I love this app...you can set multiple alarms and set parameters for each ('this one should allow xx minutes for snoozing' or 'this one goes off 7 days a week', etc.). Gives you date, time, current weather and forecast if you want it to. LOVE IT!!!

I only have one gripe and that is that the app re-enables sound if my phone is on silent when I open the app or close it. Its really annoying and prevents an otherwise brilliant app getting 5 stars.

Doesn't play my ringtone I selected and every time I open the app it turns my phone on vibrate when clearly I do not want it on vibrate. Please change!! But I sure do love the talking feature!

Global weather format option for fahrenheit vs celsius doesn't update scripts for voice alarms. Also, would be neat to see widget switch for individual alarms. Really very brilliant app for the sleeper who needs their awakening to be "just so."

I LIKE all the nice features & options. DON'T like how that icon disapears after so many hrs. It disapears from my other app to show me my next alarm time. I get really worried if I'm going to wake up on time or get that important scheduled time.

I think the time goes opposite am/pm compared to current time. Clever idea, but annoying in practice since is unexpected and not always what you'd want. Doesn't find any of my playlists for power amp. ics.

Beautiful interface and a ton of great features is laid waste to the fact that it doesn't return sound settings whenever you come in, out or use the app. Turns all the sounds back on, even if you have a silent time allotted. None of the other alarm apps do that. Total fail. Author ignores emails and requests to fix. Too bad, cause it is a better alarm clock. I just don't need my phone alerting my household at 4:30 AM when I am getting ready for work of incoming emails, texts and calls...

I use the voice alarm for my leave time and mute the standard alarm. Would give five stars but the app loses one minute by announcing the same time the first two minutes.

Because am/pm sometimes seems to change on you when you edit an existing alarm's time; that nearly cost me at one point. You also must navigate quite a bit to change tone/volume: the whole menu could be made less detailed and faster to reach what you need.

alarms and other features work fine, except that it swtiches my nexus s 4G (ICS) from silent/vibrate mode to sound on whenever i snooze or turn the alarm off, so i manually need to switch it back to silent/vibrate after EVERY alarm.

Had this on og drops and was great. This version for some reason every time you set a new alarm or change time, changes the am/pm settings, so your alarm is off by 12 hours. Has messed me up several times. Would be fine if it had built in 24hr support, but it doesn't, even though it says it does

The alarm works great if you don't have your phone password secured. If you do, you need to enter your password to turn off the alarm. Very annoying....

This app works compared to my built in alarm clock on my Htc Evo 4g. Actually i love the math solving part to disable the alarm. Heck this is so awesome im gonna buy the pro, just because this app wakes me up, and goes off, compared to the stock app which sucks balls.

I looked at a number of Alarm clocks when I got my android. Alarmdroid fits my needs perfectly - it's easy to set an alarm, and easy tochange the tone. The options are laid out in useful fashion . I love the ability to by pass quiet mode(phone is turned over) and prevent shake &c fro disabling the ringing alarm. The many options for alarm sounds , sources and wake timers are fantastic. highly recommended!

This is the best alarm app on the market, why would anyone install anything different? Its free, it has everything you could ever want from an alarm app. It has a realy cool option to give you a maths queston which you have to work out to stop the alarm or put it on snooze so it wakes you up the proper way. Plus I realy love the option to turn up the alarm slowly in a time you want to you wake up without getting a shock. I would give it a 10 star and thank you for giving us such a good app

I curse this alarm every morning as it wakes me and I need to do math to shut it down. Im a single mom with issues waking up..... This is the ONLY alarm able to wake me every morning... And my kids cant disable it on me!!! Thank You for creating this app!!!! Without it, my kids wouldnt b at school every morning!

I can no longer work out how to set the clock to 24 hour time. There's a menu section that says it contains 12/24 hour time setting, but when I go in there, it's only themes etc.

The alarm won't switch off even if you put in the right answer to some of your equations and you can even cycle it for a different one whilst alarm is going off. Check your sums and put it right.. Frustrating!!!

Nice idea but way to complex (i need a nice clock and not an os). Additional to that it has to much bugs or just works awkward! It feels like a let-me-see-what-can-i-do project. Sorry, but can't trust or recommend this app. BTW: I tested this apps some months ago and the situation didn't changed at all.

The default is am even if you are updating a pm alarm! For example 12 pm alarm wakes me up but I'm too tired an decide to add an hour... Woops! Alarm isn't going to go of for 13 hrs!

i have been using this app for a long time and i love it. however, lately, when solving math problems, the numbers won't insert into the box unless i push them around 6 times, which is very frustrating to my tired self. a bug fix would be highly appreciated.

Recently my phone has been switched to silent mode when the alarm has been turned off. It's this type of thing that gives Android a bad name. Otherwise can't complain.

This is a nice alarm. It can have multiple alarms with preset days which is handy so there is no need to keep resting the time. I also love the Snoozin features, I use the flip so when I flip the phone it goes to snooze without having to hit the correct button or possibly wrong button. The math feature which requires you to solve a function in order to turn the alarm off helps ensure you aren't late for those important date.

I am a sound sleeper and between the voice reading of time and weather and the math problem, I never over sleep anymore. The only suggestion I have would be an option to choose the level of difficulty in the math problem. Other than that (which isn't a big deal to begin with) this alarm is amazing.

The only issue is having to unlock to snooze, maybe if its not possible to unlock screen so make it on the volume rocker.

Great app but drained my batter at the rate of 3% an hour. Fully loaded, the battery lost 24% over 8h night even though the phone was asleep and on ariplane mode. Same rate of drainage continued during the work day (rarely using the phone). Disabled the next alarm and battery drainage stopped. My normal battery consumption during nighttime is 1-2% in total (on idlea and on airplane mode). Loved the fucntions however and loved the idea of waking up to a radio stream. Built in fuction to turn on wifi and disable airplane mode before alarm goes off is simple great. But still, the app refused to play a number of streams (all stream copied from TuneIn radio) and only selected formats were playable. Maybe needs more testing and the battery drainage on my Galaxy S I9000 is a bug but returned to using the good old Alarm Clock Xtreme for now.

For the first time in many downloads one alarm that actually wakes me up. I am a deep serious sleeper. I hit snooze and it wakes me up again five minutes later. Just make sure u use the ' noise1 ' alarm and that ll do the job.

When it works, it is perfect. When it doesn't you will oversleep miss appointments and have a great deal of pain. The developer never returns emails and he wants you to pay money to buy the upgrade. ROFL. I just never know when this will work or not. I have tried uninstall and reinstall. That did not work. I rebooted and cleared cache. Nothing fixes it. At one time, I had a good backup with Titanium that I would just replace the current version with but even that version does not work anymore. If this is the best he has to offer, I will go back to the bedside plug in clock. OH, WHERE IS THE CLICK BOX TO GIVE HIM ZERO STARS INSTEAD OF ONE?

Has every possible feature. You you can customize every thing from getting the temperature in fahrenheit or celsius to waking up to an mp3 or radio or custom playlist. It is the perfect alarm clock.

Installed just to overcome the "alarm silenced after 1 minute" bug of my phone and now wondering why anyone would use any other alarm but this. If one could configure the time music ramps from min volume to max configured, this would be the BEST ever. Wait... there is such an option!

It's nice to always have your phone but if the internet is down it doesn't work, and for some reason my gps is on and I have full access to internet and calls, but this app always stops loading when it "searches for nearby stores." Please fix this problem.

Allows you to program your alarm based on your work schedule. I work 4 days a week and have to work every other weekend, so Id have to set my alarm nightly. Now my normal schedule is automatic. Awesome app.

Love the flip to snooze and shake to stop. Easily the best feature set and layout I have seen for an alarm clock. I can usually get to what I want (eg changing the time) two clicks faster than with the stock. With an updated UI for Android 4.0 and fewer settings, Alarmdroid would blow the rest out of the water and be accessible to everyone.
