Its great but when I updated my Galaxy S2 to Andriod 4.0.3 it has not been working properly now it freezes every time I open the app fix please

You can just use this app for a simple weather update (including hourly breakdown and extended forecast), or use the options to track multiple cities, watch videos on the weather, etc. It can be as basic or as advanced as you want. Been using it for about a month and I love it!

You don't update your paid app, ever! I see new updates all the time for this free app, but I paid for the premium version so I wouldn't see ads. It's like a slap in the face to see the free app get updated over and over. Do you guys even care about the people who actually paid to get a quality app with no ads?

Since upgrading my Samsung galaxy s2 with ice cream sandwich this app has become very buggy. Lets you load then just freezes handset up. Please fix as this app is very useful x

Great, but the temperature notification stops after a while, and isn't active when I turn on my phone. This means I have to start up the app to get it running, which defeats the point of having a notification. Secondly, I'd like to be able to change the colour of the notification to fit in with everything else (white)

Where I am located it says mist. Sky's are clear and radar is clear as well. Temperature may be correct and information from NWS, that's about it though.

Every time I try to change settings to celcius it locks up and sometimes makes my phone restart. The original app pre installed on my phone has stopped updating, thats the reason for trying this disapointing app. GS2 ics.

This has great potential but is in need of serious adjustments before I even think of purchasing. Huge fan of "my current location" temperature being displayed in top left corner, however, I notice that it will disappear unless I go into my settings and open the app. What's so curious is that when I check running apps, this app shows 2 programs running at the same time, yet it isn't displaying the tem in the top left corner like you would think an app that runs 2 programs would do! I'll wait to pay!

Seems to b a good app so far however time is wrong on all locations and does not match e.g my home location should say 10 11am instead reads 9 37am and my holiday location should say 11 11 but reads 10 52am so can't even say it just because of clock change. Otherwise all in perfect order. More accurate weather than the weather channel app I had.

Would give 5 stars if they will turn those stupid red exclamation points off!!! It used to be so much better before those dumb alerts. Please make an option to not get those in the notification tray!...please be aware of the red exclamation points people! They take up too much room and other items i have set to pop up in the tray can't be displayed now. Please make option to ignore alerts!

Works okay, but sometimes doesn't load all the way. Has lots of errors every day while upgrading the temperature. And is always an hour and a half to two hours behind on the temperatures. Please make it work better.

I really wish this app's widget would track my current location like some other weather apps I've had in the past. Other than that though, this is a great app that tells you what you want to know about the weather forecast in a nicely put together package with an attractive layout.

Used to work brilliantly on SGS2 Gingerbread, but since upgrading to ICS, rubbish. After closing the ap, the phone now freezes for about 30 seconds before bringing up a crash reopt screen, which also appears to crash for another 10 seconds before you can fill it In. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling, still the same only all temperatures are in Fahrenheit, when I open the settings to change to centigrade, it crashes. Please fix as this ap was a lot better than the default ap installed on the device.

This app is perfect for a guy like me that lives in a place where the weather is unpredictable and even in a place like that accuweather shows most of the time (85%), exactly what the weather, the temperature and the forecast is or is going to be. I love this, we here at home travel by public transportation, so the information is very helpful with the real-time forecast and radar, alerts. Super cool, love that it also gives health info according to the weather and conditions. Happy to see that, as I just found out I have osteoarthritis, and that information helps. Works fine and updates bettr than most of d othr weathr apps. Switched from Goweather as the damn thing has bombed. Found this app to b really good. My only grouse is the widget. While the weather info in the notification bar gets updated promptly, the widget takes its own sweet time..at least over 5mins which is irritating. Also on the phone start up, the widget just refuses to load. Hope they fix this soon.

I used to use this app when I first got my EVO but didn't like it as you had to use the web to get any details...NOW it is amazing! It shows everything I need to know. The radar is weak but I use radar now strictly for radar info. This app giving severe weather notices, 24 hour hourly forecasts, 15 day forecasts and the daily details are all great! MUCH MUCH BETTER THAN THE OLD VERSION AND BEST FREE WEATHER APP ON THE MARKET IMO...

I've tried a lot of android weather apps and this one is the best so far. I like to disable data on the phone to extend battery life. So far this app seems to handle it. It has a refresh button to retrieve the latest weather info.

Just switched from TWC app, for something different. This is a beautiful app with plenty of useful information. It updates well for my needs, and I love the video features. My only recommendation is making a smaller widget available. The only one (4x1) takes up too much space for the amount of info. Other than that, its a solid app on my D4. Thanks much.

I love this app but now it has started getting my home location wrong. It has my home location off by a good 20-40 miles. Very disappointed that I have to change my location everytime I want to check the weather. Please fix this!

Like the app lots of information and the video feeds. For me it loads slower than weather bug, and doesn't show where the feed comes from. WB loads faster and let's you select the station. I also get many 'no network ' from Accuweather most days. On a Droid x

Like the hour by hour forecast, i use it for stargazing. Set to a dark site location to aid in planning stargazing outings. As with any weather forecast must be used with several other sources as no one source is ever completely acurate.

I just downloaded this today and so far I'm loving it. I had the weather channel app which I liked too. I have heard this is more accurate though, so I switched. One thing, if you use juice defender, this will not update when jd does its scheduled moments of allowing data access. You just need to unlock your phone to allow it to update. No biggie to me. Overall I love the features that this gives vs. weather channel. And I still get my weather alerts.

This is a great app all around and it is beautifully designed. It is very accurate and provides all the information desired to fulfill all your weather needs. However, the app either needs to start it self on boot or have an option in its settings to do so. The last thing I want to do is to have to remember to start this app every time I turn my phone on.

This app is very very good except weather maps loading leaves it very very crippled. Zooming in and out takes until Christmas to do anything peroid. Being able to move around to edjust location is a very sad joke on you. All that being said if it wasn't for this one feature holding it back it would be first class #1 app!

I have ben using the weather channel app forever & had lots of problems. After a day of use with this app, I'm totally amazed! All the important info is right there in the widget, I don't really have to go further for basic info. When I do need more info, the app opens quickly and there are no delays as you move page to page. Alerts/warnings pop up and in seconds you know why! WoW!!! Download this app!

Its a nice app in visual apperance but it has to many problems on my Stratoshphere. I shouldn't have to upgrade to get better working "free" features. The radar is awful and highly inaccurate, uses to much cpu causing lag, and is hard on battery life. It has great potential but for now the Dev has work to do cause they have failed so far.

This is free and has an active listing in status bar! I say almost perfect because I have to reload the application myself after a reboot and sometimes it does get my location correct.

More stable, but less accurate than TWC. Recent updates resulted in failure to start on boot. When set to auto-detect location, it seems to need frequent reassurance that I'm still in the same city. This wouldn't be nearly so bad if it did this in the background instead of blocking the UI. But to add insult to injury, it gets the city wrong when I'm at home.

This is the best weather app there is. Love the temp always showing and if there is an advisory by the color. Ads are OK by me because it is a free app. Extensive features make it very useful. Uninstalled the other ones I tried.

Great app with a lot of helpful info. Very accurate weather data. Lose two stars for so many unnecessary permissions. When I contacted support and asked why they need to access my calendar their only answer was "so ads work better". That answer certainly didn't make me feel any better. Not sure whether to keep or delete.

Update- fixed notification, thanks! I like the app, and unlike a previous reviewer I would much rather have location based weather as I travel. However, I hate the box around temperature. Biggest reason I used this app was the clean temp look matching my ics theme. Give us the option to get rid of that box!
It worked great far a while on my galaxy s but now I constantly have to open the app to get the temperature notification to re-appear at the top of the screen. Also, the widget looks distorted sometimes witj words overlapping. Please fix soon.

I had weather bug for almost a year now and just downloaded this and it's WAY BETTER!! It gives me real time weather description (i.e. Rain, Partly Cloudy, etc) just from my status bar! No need to pull up the app to see what's happening right now! The live radar is WAY MORE DETAILED!! Also, Weather Bug has an update interval of 15 minutes, this app seems to update every time the weather changes regardless of the interval!! It's way more advanced than Weather Bug!! Love it!! :)

The best of all the weather apps that I've tried but the new version has a permission setting that says they can spam people in your address book. I'd give it 2 more stars if they got rid of that permission. This is worse than Google's privacy intrusions.

I really like the app, the forecasts are good, and the interface looks good and is easy to use. Down side is crazy and unnecessary permissions that usually only come with Evil data mining apps. I also wish the weather alerts were fewer and accessible within the app instead of taking you to a website.

I found out about this through a sailing magazine, where Accuweather came out top of the list of mobile apps to have with you while on the water. I have to say its fantastic, I often get more accurate readings than on any news program or other webaote, and I feel quite smug when I tell people the forecast and it turns out to be right :D

Samsung Galaxy Nexus, Stock ROM 4.0.2. One thing I liked before is that whenever I started up my phone, the Temperature would always appear in the Notification bar. Provided a quick/easy way to check temperature by just hitting the power button on my phone, and not having to even open the phone, run anything, etc. Now, by default, the Temperature doesn't show up until I manually run the Application once. After that, it does show up. But I preferred the previous behavior. A choice to the User on which way they prefer would be even better. It also seems to take more steps for it to open - there are a couple of Location Search windows that briefly come up, then the App opens, then the Location window opens up again, and finally the App is up and running. Lastly, Loading the Radar Maps seems to take 2 tries to get it working. I hope they get these fixed.

I once gave this app 5. Not sure what kind of update this is but Accuweather no longer seems to run on phone startup after a quick restart. The temperature gauge at the top left also looks stupid with that box around it. Coupled together with the fact that the current location notification is also impaired, this is one seriously bad update for an otherwise once good application.

I love this app. I've tried many and they all suck. This 1 is very accurate. I travel all over my region for work and need to know the weather on a consistent basis. Moment to moment temps, wind speed and direction, this app has every thing I have to have. Only thing I would like to see added is "percentages".

Nice interface, good functionality with the app open, but will NOT update without going into the app. i.e. the temp in the upper left corner just stays the same unless you go back into the app itself. To me this makes it partially useless & certainly doesn't stand out from the other weather apps & widgets. Also, pretty sad little "satellite" map. Would like to see a setting to make it start automatically after reboot. Will be more than happy to re-review when it works right. Moving on for now.

The Android version is very limited and shoddy. The web logo blocks part of weather info. The ipod version is fantastic, this version is worthless

Very good weather app. Sometimes it crashes, but not very often. Only feature missing is animated radar. Oh and it doesn't give any info on winds.

The GPS doesn't seem to work. It shows my location in Angola after multiple tries to refresh GPS

Hardly accurate. It's raining outside and the current conditions on the app say nothing about rain. Temperatures tend to be off frequently also.
