FAQs (Read before rating!)
1. Can I save my pictures locally?
All you images are stored locally in your SD card as soon as you take them. You can find them in the 360panoramas folder in your SD card. Photos are also visible in your native gallery app.
2. Can the app be moved to the SD card?
Yes the app should automatically move most of its space to the SD card, but some part of it needs to be on the phone memory because of architecture issues.
3. Do all pictures get uploaded on the website automatically?
No. Only if you wish to share your panoramas with the 360 community you can click 'Share', review your settings and then upload them. All photos and panoramas are stored on your SD card.
4. Help! The app is taking blurry pictures!
Sometimes, the camera needs to reset. Try restarting the phone if you are getting extremely blurry images. If that doesnt work then you may have to try going a little slower while taking the panorama. Remember the slower the better, once you get a hang of it - taking a complete 360 takes less than 10 seconds.
5. What is sensor calibration?
The panorama app is very sensitive to your phone sensor and very frequently that sensor needs to be calibrated to get rid of evil fake values :) .
6. How fast should I move between frames?
It depends on your phone, the general principal is to move as slow as possible for the initial 2-3 tries till you get a good panorama. Once you get that you will have got your own pace nailed down based on the phone.
7. What does this login button do? Can I delete my account?
The login button simply creates an account for you using your gmail id (which is kept confidential) if you are a first time user. You can delete your account via the settings page in the app. If you’ve already uninstalled the app, then you can contact us at 360@teliportme.com with you email id, and we’ll remove the account for you
8. It's not working on my phone!
You can mail us at 360@teliportme.com with whatever problems you are facing. And we’ll try our best to sort out the issue
9. Package is incorrectly signed. I cannot install the app on my phone.
This error occurs if you have an incorrect version of the app already installed on your phone. Uninstall the existing app and then try installing the app from the market

We covered TeliportMe earlier this year, the ambitious Indian startup that aims to combine a crowd-sourced database of street-level images from across the world into a Google Street View-like product, and were fascinated by its 360 Android app for taking panoramic photos. Yesterday, the company launched a newer, faster website and a new version of the Android app with significantly upgraded photography chops. It includes settings to take a normal quality panorama, like it did before, and adds a new higher quality option. When set to normal quality, you can just pan the phone around as the camera keeps snapping pictures. It’s fast, but the pictures aren’t as great as with the newer option. With the higher quality setting, you have to stop and let the camera take a decent picture before you move on to the next one, thus resulting in a much sharper panorama overall. Its a great app but i tried to go little faster in HD mode, kinda ignoring pause sign, it didn't stitch it correctly. I am using htc evo. Pluse where does it store on SD card?

Nice idea, works like crap Stitching isn't even close to correct. It can't tell the difference between a waterfall and a rock wall. Application is intrusive, randomly fails to save panoramas, interfaces poorly with facebook, very poorly thought out phone interface. My bad for not trying it out before I shot a panorama I would like to have kept. Unistalling ASAP. Fascinate.
